Positive Thinking
Positive thinking is key to success! Here are some lessons that have been successful. I suggest that you get a notebook and keep these exercises in it. This is a resource for you to be able to go back and look at. It helps to see where your thoughts have been and where they're going. You'll be amazed at how far you've come with in a short amount of time by doing this.
Week One
- On a piece of paper write down 3 things you like about yourself. It can be anything you like!
- Everyday for the next week find a time to sit down and write one thing you are thankful for that day. It can be as simple as, "the sun was shinning today!"
Week Two
- Write a goal for each day... what do you want to accomplish? It can be as small as washing the dishes!
- Continue to write something you're thankful for each day!
- Start to think about what you want in your life. Where do you want to be in a week, a month, a year? What do you want your life to be like? It can be tough to do, but remember it all has to start somewhere! Think positive!
